对外经贸-巴黎一大MBA项目是依据中国和法国政府的合作协议，由中国对外经济贸易大学和法国国家企业管理教育基金会合作创办，于1991年正式开始招生的。作为迄今为止级别最高的政府间教育合作项目之一，该项目自创办到成长的各个阶段，始终得到中国教育部、商务部以及法国外交部、法国驻华使馆的大力支持，是最早获得教育部批准开展中外合作办学的项目，并获得国务院学位委员会批准授予境外学位.
对外经贸-巴黎一大MBA项目95%的师资是法方教授，其余师资来自对外经济贸易大学。值得一提的是，法方教授不仅仅来自巴黎一大，而是由法国政府主管部门在全法国遴选各个学科最优秀的教授，并派往中国进行授课。所以除了巴黎一大的教授，还有来自巴黎九大、HEC等全球知名院校的教授，都是各自学科领域的权威，堪称豪华。他们长期从事MBA教学工作，经验非常丰富。另外，我们的学员也有选择教授的权利。每门课程进行期间，我们的学员都可以对授课教授进行评价打分，如果综合得分偏低，那么我们将淘汰这位教授，并由法方选派新的教授来任教。这种双重筛选机制能够保证任课教师的质量，中法MBA保证了学员听课的效果。
